COT EMPIRE
History:
The Cot Empire is a fairly new empire formed by the warlord the Half-orcs Groll’Tham. The empire has since passed on to the hand of his adopted son Groll’Lark (human). Before the formation of the Cot Empire, the land beyond the Cot mountain was inhabited by the Thriam people. A fairly secretive, secluded and peaceful people. The Thriam had an army, but the sole purpose of this army was to protect the land from the Orcs in the Cot Mountain.
With Groll’Tham rise to power in the orcs army, he was able to raise an army able to take on the Thriam army. But after he defeated it, he made a surprising move. He turn some of his most close allied back on the Orcs army. His goal was never to annihilated the Thriam people, but it was to take their land and make it his. Once he took care of the Orcs army, he took control of the land and kept the Thriam as slaves. To this day, the Thriam peoples still serve the leaders of the Cot Empire.
One of the Thriam people showed a wicked side. Groll’Tham took him under his protection and raised his as his own. After a long life, Groll’Thram finally died in his bed with Groll’Lark at his side. It was clear to everyone that upon Groll’Thram, Groll’Lark would be proclaim king of the Cot empire. It is exactly what happen. Knowing his wicked way, the old guard of his dad all felt in line. He is now known as King Groll, the second.

When a village does not fall in line, he burns it to the ground, making sure to kill some people. But he always keep enough people to rebuild. There is one part of the land where a wall was built. This wall keep the people in it. These people are the remnant of the Thriam people. From these people, he collects his slave. He take good care of the Thriam people, they live in better condition than the normal Cot empire people. But, they have no freedom and their sons and daughter are sold into slavery.
King Groll closest advisor are Orcs. he still has dealing with the orcs clan in the mountain, but the relation is base on fear.
King Groll relies on Montel and Gedliar to bring in money and supply. For this, there is an arrangement between them to supply them with slave, and in return, they bring in the supply. In all honesty, King Groll is scared of Gedliar and her odd power. But the arrangement is profitable for both side, so a truce is in place.
