Azurine Silverheart
Princess Azurine “Zura” Silverheart is the youngest offspring of Freyer Silverheart, the Emperor of Rodhana.
She has many siblings but she was closest to her brother, Sir Corith Silverheart. As well as her Aunt, Lumen Anymayus, who was her mother’s sister. Lumen was cast out of the family for practicing questionable magic. Azurine felt this to be greatly unjust and a great betrayal of family bond. She left behind the life of riches and royalty and ran away from home after Aunt Lumen.
Years passed and Azurine studied magic amongst many other things alongside Lumen. One day her Aunt was mysteriously murdered. Heartbroken, Azurine spent the next few months investigating Lumen’s death and murderer. During her search, she came across the tragic news of her father’s passing. Could the two murders be related? The news of Emperor’s death was shocking to Azurine.... But not nearly as shocking as finding out it was executed by the hands of Sir Corith! The youngest of the Silverheart Sons. He was exiled and a bounty was placed upon his head.
Azurine knew Corith well and could not believe that he was capable of such a heinous act against their father. She decided to seek him out, determined to find the truth. During her geography lessons with Lumen, Azurine studied a magnificent city called, Badjani. It was just across the sea, and Corith often spoke highly of it. That is where she began her search.
Upon arriving in Badjani, she asked many questions to many people until finally she found herself hot on his trail. She had missed him by only a few days. Evidently Corith was heading to a small village called Fenil, across the Interior Sea. With great haste, Azurine booked a transfer there on a small Octavian Empire boat.
Once in Fenil, she found out that a small band of bandits had been attacking a fishing outpost to the north, and Corith had volunteered to rid them of the bad guys by himself. People were surprised. There was no way one man could take them on all alone.
Azurine made her way north and came upon the battle. Corith was still fighting but losing. He sustained many wounds, but had single-handedly killed more the a dozen bandits. There were still about six bandits standing and by the looks of it Sir Corith was about to fall. Azurine came in aid of her big brother and together they defeated the enemies, victoriously saving the fishing outpost.
Brother and sister were reunited. Being in the land of Fumiel’Rial, they decided to seek out Maniath, the “largest” settlement in the area. They traveled together by boat and headed north up a river and docked in a city called Maniath, located just by Maniath Lake.
They enter an Inn called, "The Laughing Trout."
And this is where our story begins.
